Before you even touch your suitcase, jot down a list of all the items you'll need. This simple step will save you from the last-minute "Did I forget something?" panic.

Rolling your clothes instead of folding them and placing in packing cubes not only saves space but also reduces the volume of your clothing. I've packed 7 outfits in 1 packing cube. 

Don't forget your prescription meds and any other essentials. It's a good idea to carry a small first-aid kit, too, just in case.

Keep all your electronics and cables organized in a small pouch or organizer. No more tangled messes, and it's easy to find what you need. Keep in mind when traveling internationally, you may need a travel plug adapter.

Shoes can take up a lot of space. Stick to a maximum of three pairs: one for walking, one for formal occasions, and one versatile pair that goes with everything.

Always have a personal item, like a tote, small backpack, or a crossbody, for your daily essentials during the trip. This keeps them easily accessible and separates them from your main luggage.
